Sam’s Club UX & Design Systems
As Director and Executive Director of UX, I led a seven year partnership with Sam’s Club Design and Product Teams. From strategic to tactical initiatives, I led teams through successful diverse programs, ranging from digital app strategy, enterprise design systems, AI strategy and enablement, computer vision, way-finding, spatial design, enterprise supply chain and merchandising systems, among numerous other initiatives.
I currently serve in a blended role as Chief Design Officer / CEO at argodesign, a global product strategy and design consultancy. My role encompasses two primary responsibilities:
1) creative leader, driving thought and design leadership in AI and emerging technologies, ensuring quality of work, delivery, and building and motivating a world-class team across four studios in the US and Europe,
and 2) serving in a quasi-CEO capacity, driving business operations, performance, financial goals, and growth.
Apptronik Apollo Robot Design and AI Control
Directed the team in establishing the brand and identity for the humanoid robot, Apollo. In Phase 2, we enhanced and refined the design further, while also developing the controller matrix and AI learning systems for fleet deployment and management.

Medical Complex Project
Directed the initiative to undertake a major project that defines architectural requirements through advanced technology for a new medical complex. By identifying human needs for patients, providers, and caregivers, the project integrates technology enablers such as spatial intelligence, AI, robotics, and automation across 5-, 20-, and 50-year planning horizons.

Digital Strategy & Design for Robert Half
Developed the digital strategy and led the comprehensive redesign for global staffing firm Robert Half. Alongside implementing a transformative strategy and refreshed visual identity, we established a streamlined, modern workflow to enhance collaboration between design and engineering teams.

Product Design for Red Hat Marketplace by IBM
Directed the comprehensive product strategy and design of Red Hat by IBM multi-cloud marketplace experience. We engaged with IBM design and business teams, from initial executive pitch deck, to encompassing user journeys, from discovery, to deployment, to application management.

Under Armour Connected Fitness - UA Record
Led the team and design of UA Record mobile app, part of the Under Armour Connected Fitness hardware and software ecosystem. Worked closely with UA brand to extend the design ethos into the digital experience. Collaborated with hardware product and design teams to ensure seamless connections and visualization of data.

Led a small and very talented team of believers to transform Zune.net from a static web-page advertisement into a full on media discovery and streaming platform - way before that kind of thing was cool.

Design and build a global web experience to accompany the Live Earth concert event, complete with 24-hour live streaming across all the continents and launch it in 6 months? You got it. Was the largest ever live video streaming event. And it went off without a hitch.
